Hitachi Energy to invest $528 million and create 654 jobs in Copiah County

Hitachi Energy is making a $528 million investment in Copiah County, Mississippi, in what is described as the company’s largest U.S. investment in its history. The project is expected to create 654 jobs.

The company selected Copiah County for the investment after considering locations in states across the country, according to the announcement.
