A Walmart in North Missisisppi is shutting down for the night due to threats of potential protests moving in to the area.
From the Olive Branch PD:
***ATTENTION***
Out of an abundance of caution, the Olive Branch Walmart has closed at this time. The store will resume operations at the regularly scheduled time tomorrow morning. There is no cause for concern, this is a precautionary measure only.
This comes as other stores in the area, including the Tanger Outlet shopping center, have decided to close for the night.
