A Columbus teenager has been charged by Columbus Police Department with murdering another teenager.
Columbus Police announced Monday night that 19 year old Jakody Moore is being charged with the murder of Marquez Carter Jr. for a shooting that took place on Saturday, September 28 on Constance Lane.
Moore is also being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and 17-year-old recovering from injuries from the assault.
Moore is being held in the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.
In addition, Columbus Police also provided an image of an unnamed individual who is a person of interest in the incident.
