Mississippi faces slight risk of severe storms Friday into Saturday

Parts of Mississippi face a slight risk of severe storms Friday and early Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

The threat includes damaging winds and severe thunderstorms. Tornadoes are also possible, but not certain.

Residents are urged to stay weather-aware and monitor updates.
