Ocean Springs police seek man charged with terroristic threats

Case Number 2026080115 — Ocean Springs Police Department is asking the public for help locating Desman Mikell, who has been charged with terroristic threats after allegedly threatening to blow up a medical facility within the city limits, the department said.

Police said Mikell is known to frequent the Ocean Springs and Hattiesburg, Mississippi, areas. Ocean Springs is a coastal city on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The department did not immediately provide further details about the incident or the medical facility named in the threat.

Investigators asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers by downloading the P3 Tips app or by calling Crime Stoppers. The department said information must come through Crime Stoppers to qualify for a reward.
