Ole Miss men’s tennis sophomore Vlado Jankanj opened qualifying at the ITF M15 Fayetteville with a straight-set victory over Arkansas’ Brendan Boland on Monday in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Jankanj won the first set 6-3 and closed the match with a 6-1 second-set victory. He is scheduled to return Tuesday for the second round of men’s singles qualifying.
