Ole Miss’ defense has been criticized for its performance in games against Louisville and Florida, with the unit described as struggling with missed tackles and assignments in the secondary.
The criticism also pointed to defensive coordinator Pete Golding, calling the defense his responsibility. The assessment contrasted the performances against Louisville and Florida with the team’s game against LSU, when the defense was described as having its execution in order.
