Baptist Ambulance names Jacob Rainey Player of the Game
Baptist Ambulance recognized paramedic Jacob Rainey as its Player of the Game during Ole Miss football coverage, naming him the latest recipient of a new game day tradition called THE BELT.
The recognition is given to a Baptist Ambulance Player of the Game who goes above and beyond for the team. The winner keeps the belt and the associated bragging rights for a week before passing it to the next teammate recognized.
Rainey volunteers to cover the student section during Ole Miss home games, an assignment Baptist Ambulance said can keep crews busy. He also assists employees who are new to working Ole Miss games by sharing his experience and helping them prepare for game day without being asked.
Baptist Ambulance congratulated Rainey and said he could enjoy THE BELT and the week’s bragging rights.
