Jackson police hold real-time data meeting to track crime patterns

The Jackson Police Department held a real-time command meeting to review crime statistics and activity across the city, according to a Facebook post.

The department analyzes data by precinct and division to identify patterns, trends, and suspects who have been arrested.

Staff also discussed additional resources needed to combat criminal activity.
