Captain Brown provided a history of the department to the CPA class last night, outlining key milestones from its incorporation as a city in 1980 to the present.
Officers Hall and Wilson discussed the benefits of the department’s proactive, real-time crime information center and the use of virtual intelligence to assist officers.
Officer Kjellin explained the department’s Chaplain program, which offers support to victims during traumatic situations.
The department thanks Olive Garden Southaven for dinner and the Chamber of Commerce for providing containers.
