Game Day: MSU vs Missouri

Mississippi State will play host to the Missouri Tigers today at 2:30 p.m. to end the regular season. The Bulldogs are currently on a 3-game losing skid and would like to end the regular season with a victory. Today we will see the Bulldogs wearing their alternate black uniforms for the first time this season.

The Bulldogs and Tigers have played on the gridiron just 3 previous times with Missouri winning the first two and the Bulldogs winning the last contest in 2015. Today will only be the second time that the two teams have played as cross-division foes.

While the season hasn’t gone the way State fans have wanted, today’s game could end up being a very important one. As crazy as it may sound, there is still a chance the Bulldogs could be playing for a bowl game. Given the current situation around the country with teams opting out of bowl games and the conference bowl tie-ins, a win today could all but guarantee a spot in the postseason for Mississippi State.

Today’s game will be televised at 2:30 p.m. CT on the SEC Network Alternate channel.
