Two men sought in weekend Tunica County shooting incident

Tunica County authorities are looking for a suspect in connection with a weekend shooting incident.
Deputies were called to the 1000 block of Kirby Estates close to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, after a man called to advise that someone had been shot.
On arrival, they found a Black male victim identified as Davao Love Thomas of Crawford. Thomas was suffering from several gunshot wounds to the body.
Witnesses told deputies that a suspect, identified as Korea T. McKay of Tunica County, was seen shooting Thomas and then fleeing the scene in a possible brown-colored pickup truck with unknown vehicle tags.
Another person, identified as a person of interest, was identified as Jefferey Pickett of Tunica, was seen in the passenger seat of the pickup and left the scene with McKay driving.
The Tunica County coroner declared Thomas dead at the scene.
Tunica County authorities continue to investigate and are searching for the suspects in the incident.
