Texas House Representative Dies From COVID-19
On Monday, the family of House of Representatives member Ron Wright announced Wright’s passing after a battle with the novel coronavirus at the age of 67.
Wright is the first sitting member of Congress to die from COVID-19. He had been admitted with his wife, Susan, to Baylor Hospital after their symptoms further developed.
