Phelps, Lantern recognized at Zeta Phi Beta scholarship luncheon

Sheriff Shane Phelps and Chief Deputy Reginald Lantern were recognized at the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Upsilon Tau Zeta Chapter Scholarship Luncheon held today, according to the Panola County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office said the two were among honorees recognized for contributions involving service, leadership, education, business, health care and community involvement. The office also congratulated all honorees who attended.

The office thanked the Upsilon Tau Zeta Chapter for its commitment to scholarships, service, sisterhood and uplifting the next generation.
