Across the state, multiple schools have issued warnings of potential or official closings/late starts due to possible snowy and icy weather on Monday.

Junior Colleges
East Mississippi, East Central Mississippi, Hinds, and Holmes Community College are all closing on Monday, January 11th and will now begin classes on Tuesday, January 12th.
High Schools
Calhoun County Schools will have a delayed start with students arriving at 9:30 a.m.
Houston School District and Chickasaw County School District will start and run buses on a two-hour delay from normal time.
Lowndes County School District will announce an official decision on classes around 6:20 a.m. while Columbus School District will be fully virtual on Monday.
Amory School District will at least be on a two-hour delayed start time with a final decision made at approximately 6:20 a.m.
All Webster County Schools will be closed on Monday. Virtual and in-person learning will return on Tuesday.
