Mississippi public safety offices to close for Labor Day

Mississippi Department of Public Safety offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day, the agency said.

The offices will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026. Law enforcement officers across Mississippi will continue working to enforce traffic laws and help keep the state’s roads safe, according to the department.
