Louisville Man Arrested on First-Degree Murder Warrant

Louisville, Miss. – The Louisville Police Department has arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred last year.

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, officers served a First-Degree Murder warrant on Alexzay Martez Triplett, stemming from a shooting on November 24, 2024, on East Oak Street. The incident claimed the life of Jamichael Shadarion Conner.

In addition to the murder charge, Triplett faces a count of Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling.

Triplett made his initial court appearance on Friday, August 29, 2025, where Judge Robert Beck set his cumulative bond at $500,000.

Authorities confirmed the case remains under active investigation, with additional arrests expected.
