Chokwe Antar Lumumba announced on Tuesday night that all bars, nightclubs, lounges, and taverns in the Capital City will be forced to close for one week by executive order.
However, the businesses will still be able to serve takeout or drive-through services to patrons.
Also, any bar service inside a restaurant must close immediately and for the next week.
Restaurants will only be allowed to serve customers who are seated at tables or using drive-though, pickup, or curbside services.
