Vote Mama endorses Greta Kemp Martin for Attorney General

Vote Mama, the first PAC focused solely on electing Democratic moms, has announced its endorsement of Greta Kemp Martin, candidate for Mississippi Attorney General. Martin is seeking the Democratic nod for the November election where Lynn Fitch is the Republican incumbent.

“Now more than ever, we need leaders who will defend our most basic rights — the right to vote, our reproductive rights, and our health care freedoms. Vote Mama is proud to support Greta Kemp Martin in her campaign for Mississippi Attorney General,” said Liuba Grechen Shirley, Vote Mama Founder and CEO. “Mississippi’s current Attorney General authored the lawsuit that overturned Roe v. Wade, refuses to hold corrupt officials accountable, and prioritizes special interests above everyday Mississippians. Unlike her opponent, Greta Kemp Martin has dedicated her life and career to fighting for equity and opportunity. I am confident that she will use the full power of the Attorney General’s office to stand up for women and children, and champion progress to move her state forward.”

“Running for Attorney General and serving in office as a bonus mom to my three amazing bonus kids is a testament to the strength, resilience, and multitasking abilities that all mothers and mother-like figures possess. As a candidate, the endorsement of Vote Mama holds tremendous significance for me as it represents the trust and confidence that mothers have in my ability to fight for justice, protect their families, and create a safer and more equitable Mississippi for all women and children. I am dedicated to using my experience as an attorney, a woman, and, now, a bonus mom to inform my decision-making, champion policies that prioritize the well-being of families, and ensure a brighter future for our children,” said Greta Kemp Martin, candidate for Mississippi Attorney General.
