Brooks receives endorsement in District 118 primary race

GatorPAC chairman Colonel Robert L Maness has released the following statement announcing his endorsement of Raymond Brooks for State Representative:

“We are proud to endorse Raymond Brooks for Mississippi State House District 118. His dedication to protecting liberty, fighting for limited government, and ensuring our prosperity is unparalleled. Raymond has a strong record of supporting conservative policies that are in keeping with GatorPAC’s mission of inspiring, recruiting, and advocating for constitutional principles. We believe he is the right leader to bring positive change to Mississippi and we are proud to support him in this election.”

Brooks, a career law enforcement officer running for the House District 118 seat, responded to the endorsement by saying:

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of GatorPAC and Colonel Rob Maness. Their commitment to protecting liberty, fighting for limited government, and securing prosperity is one that I strongly share. As someone who deeply believes in preserving constitutional principles, I am humbled by this endorsement. It is my hope that together we can bring conservative change to Jackson and secure a bright future for Mississippi. Thank you GatorPAC for your support and confidence in my campaign! I look forward to working with you in furthering our shared goals.”

Brooks is running against state Rep. Greg Haney in the August Republican primary election. Haney was first elected in the 2011 legislative election and won without opposition in 2015 again in 2019, after defeating John McCay in the Republican primary.

GatorPac, based in Louisiana, is a political action committee seeking to get conservative activists and citizen leaders who support limited government and constitutional conservative candidates.
