Vicksburg police seek help locating woman wanted in embezzlement
VICKSBURG, Miss. — The Vicksburg Police Department is asking the public to help locate a woman wanted in an embezzlement case.
Police identified the woman as Princess Grissom-Carter, born Aug. 11, 1981, and said she is wanted in connection with an embezzlement investigation. Authorities did not release additional details about the alleged offense.
The Vicksburg Police Department, which provides law enforcement services for the city of Vicksburg and surrounding areas, is urging anyone with information about Grissom-Carter’s whereabouts to call the department at 601-636-2511 or contact Investigator Gladys Kersh at 601-876-8045.
Embezzlement generally refers to the unlawful taking of money or property by someone entrusted with its care, and cases can involve private businesses, nonprofit organizations or public funds. Public tips often help investigators locate suspects and protect potential victims.
