Organizers thanked Steven Adams in a Facebook post for a donation to support National Night Out 2026.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that brings neighbors, law enforcement and community groups together in cities and towns across the United States, typically in August. The event is designed to strengthen police-community partnerships, encourage neighborhood camaraderie and promote crime prevention awareness.
Local organizers rely on donations and sponsorships to cover costs for block parties, safety demonstrations, supplies and publicity. The Facebook post did not disclose the amount or specific uses of Adams’ contribution.
Community leaders said contributions such as this help ensure events reach more neighborhoods and provide resources for volunteer-led activities. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
