Pearl River County asks public to help find convicted sex offender
The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help locate Levi Laverne Jenkins, a convicted sex offender, the office said. Jenkins was convicted of fondling in 2011, the sheriff’s office said.
Jenkins was released from Mississippi Department of Corrections custody in November 2025 and, the office said, has not registered as a sex offender in any state. His last known location was New Orleans, Louisiana, in December 2025.
A photo released with the notice is from 2022. Convicted sex offenders are typically required to register where they live so law enforcement and the public can be informed of their whereabouts.
Anyone with information about Jenkins’ whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers by downloading the P3 Tips app or by calling TIPS. To be eligible for a reward, information must be submitted directly through Crime Stoppers. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
