Organizers are inviting vendors to participate in this year’s Summer Camp Signing Day, set for Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the YMCA. The event will give families an opportunity to explore local summer programs, connect directly with providers and register children on site; organizers said campers registered at last year’s event.
This year’s theme is “Under the Big Top,” a carnival-style atmosphere organizers say will be colorful and high-energy. Organizers will supply a table for each vendor and ask vendors to decorate their space, share brochures and program information, and bring door prizes or giveaways.
Organizers said the event is intended to help programs showcase offerings to families actively seeking opportunities, increase enrollment and boost community visibility while celebrating youth services in the area.
The event is a joint partnership of Junius Ward Johnson (YMCA), Vicksburg Warren School District, United Way of West Central MS, the City of Vicksburg Youth Services Department, Vicksburg Police Department and Recreation Department, and the Vicksburg Warren County Youth Development Center.
