NOBLE chapter holds Blue & Youth Voices forum in Jackson

The Hinds County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that the Greater Mississippi Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives will host a Blue & Youth Voices discussion on Thursday, April 16.

The session runs from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Jackson Convention Complex, 105 E. Pascagoula St., Jackson. The post said the event will bring together law enforcement professionals, community partners and young people for a meaningful conversation.

NOBLE, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, represents Black law enforcement leaders and focuses on leadership development, community engagement and public safety. The Greater Mississippi Chapter’s event coincides with NOBLE’s 50th anniversary celebration, which the post noted.

Organizers say the forum is intended to strengthen dialogue between youth and police and to encourage community partnerships around public safety. The Hinds County Sheriff’s Office posted the announcement on its Facebook page. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
