Mississippi Department of Public Safety offices close Monday for Presidents Day

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety announced that its offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 16, in observance of Presidents Day, the agency said in a Facebook post. The closure includes all Driver Service Bureaus across the state. Offices are scheduled to resume normal business hours on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

The announcement affects residents who planned to visit Driver Service Bureaus for services such as license renewals, identification cards and other in-person transactions. Drivers who needed same-day assistance should adjust plans accordingly.
