Jackson police seek three runaways from group home

Jackson Police Department said in a Facebook post that officers responded March 24, 2026, to The Goodness Project after three juveniles left the facility at about 9:00 p.m.

The department identified the missing as 17-year-old white female Dakota Wilson, 17-year-old white female Ella Huffman and 18-year-old white male Jordan Beard. Nurses at the facility reported seeing the youths walk out a back door and through a pathway in a wooded area behind the group home, the post said.

Child Protective Services was notified and the youths were entered into the National Crime Information Center database, the department said. Police asked anyone with information to contact the Jackson Police Department at 769-209-7439 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-8477.

The Goodness Project was described in the post as a group home. Runaway reports often prompt immediate searches because of potential risks to minors and concerns for public safety; entries into NCIC help coordinate information with other law enforcement agencies.
