Jackson Police Department is asking the public for help solving the 2022 fatal shooting of a motorist whose vehicle crashed along Interstate 55.
Authorities said 32-year-old Kion Hughes crashed his vehicle on July 29, 2022, near the I-55 North Frontage Road. Officers responding to the scene determined Hughes had been shot, and the case remains unsolved, officials said.
Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact the Jackson Police Department at 601-960-1604 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477). Officials said tips that lead to an arrest could result in a reward of up to $2,500, and callers may remain anonymous.
