The Jackson Police Department said follow-up investigation found the two men pictured in a Facebook post published July 17 were not involved in a house burglary and credit card fraud linked to that post.
The department said both men voluntarily came to police headquarters after seeing their photos on Facebook and spoke with the lead detective. After those interviews, the men were excluded from the investigation and the department removed the social media post. The investigation is ongoing, the department said.
