HCSO sergeant tours Children’s Museum
Sgt. Cory Wright of HCSO gave a short tour of the Children’s Museum yesterday evening, the Jackson Police Department said in a post on its Facebook page.
The department’s post thanked Wright and included a playful note: “Thank you sir for sparing us the two-headed snake !!!!” The post did not provide further details about the tour or the reference to the display.
HCSO is a local sheriff’s office; children’s museums typically offer interactive exhibits designed to engage young visitors in learning through play, and visits by law enforcement officers are a common form of community outreach. Events like museum tours allow officers to meet families in informal settings, build relationships, and help familiarize children with public safety personnel.
The department did not release additional information about the visit. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
