Biloxi police post on Facebook

Biloxi Police Department recently posted on its official Facebook page, but the post included only minimal information. The content posted was brief, and the department has not released additional details through social media or its website.

The Biloxi Police Department is the municipal law enforcement agency for Biloxi, Mississippi, responsible for public safety, traffic enforcement and criminal investigations in the coastal city. Like many local police agencies, the department uses social media to share timely information with residents.

Police and other emergency agencies commonly use Facebook and other platforms to notify the public about road closures, safety advisories, wanted persons, missing people and community events. Social media allows departments to reach residents quickly, supplementing traditional media and official press releases.

Residents who rely on updates should follow the department’s verified social accounts and local news outlets for confirmation and further information. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
