Two Tupelo suspects charged with vehicle burglary, held on $2,500 bond
Tupelo police arrested two suspects in connection with a vehicle burglary at a U-Haul on East Main Street, according to authorities.
On Dec. 20, officers responded to the location after business personnel reported finding two people sleeping inside a box truck. When asked to leave, the suspects left the truck but items were discovered missing from another vehicle on the property, police said.
The suspects were later identified as Michael L. Keith, 55, and Rhonda A. Berryhill, 52, both of Tupelo. They were arrested on narcotics charges and later charged with vehicle burglary on Dec. 22, police said.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Keith and Berryhill to each post a $2,500 bond. The cases will be presented to the Lee County grand jury, authorities said.
