Jackson County sheriff’s office reports arrest and seven calls for service

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department reported one arrest and seven calls for service in its Sept. 14, 2026, report.

William Rushing was arrested at 26901 Hwy. 613 in Escatapwa on charges of public drunkenness, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

In Hurley, Paula Saavedra reported a shoplifting incident at 6950 Hwy. 614, while Kimberly Dunn reported a separate shoplifting at 16917 Hwy. 63.

Tyler Goff reported a theft at 8844 Hwy. 613 in Escatawpa. In St. Martin, Michael Gardner reported a theft at Jordan and Jim Ramsey Road.

Also in St. Martin, Patsy Ivy reported a fraud scam at 13440 Crane Drive, and Madison Pavlus reported harassing phone calls at 15345 Leighwood Lane.
