Tupelo officers join Grace Nation Church for outreach at Nathaniel’s Place

Chief Quaka, Deputy Chief Hill, Captain Wilkerson, Officer A. Hendrix and Officer Wheeler joined Pastor Michael Stamps of Grace Nation Church for a community outreach event at Nathaniel’s Place last Friday.

During the event, officers handed out snacks, visited with children and spent time playing with them. The department said events like the gathering provide an opportunity for officers to connect with young people in the community in a positive and meaningful way.

The department thanked Stamps and Grace Nation Church for partnering with police and helping make the afternoon possible.
