The Ocean Springs Police Department took part in this year’s Shop with a Cop event, officials announced on Facebook.
Officers enjoyed shopping with local children, spreading holiday cheer and helping brighten the season, according to the department.
The department thanked participating families and emphasized that events like this highlight community policing’s core values: connection, compassion, and community.
The department used hashtags including #ShopWithACop, #CommunityPolicing, and #ChristmasCheer to promote the event.
