A New Albany business is offering truck drivers 10% off their orders during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. Customers must show their commercial driver’s licenses to receive the discount, which excludes tamales.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
