Southaven Chamber urges residents to connect local businesses before Oct. 1

The Southaven Chamber of Commerce is asking residents to recommend local businesses for its Chamber Connection Challenge, which ends Oct. 1.

Participants can think of a business they interact with, including a favorite local establishment, trusted vendor, newly discovered business or owner active in the community. They can send the Chamber the business’s name and contact information or make an introduction.

The Chamber said participants do not need to promote or sell Chamber membership. Instead, the organization will handle the next steps after a connection is made. Residents can also tag a business in the comments, according to the Chamber’s post.
