Eliza Whitenton named MACCC Offensive Player of the Week

Eliza Whitenton was named MACCC Offensive Player of the Week after recording a program-record 25 kills in NEMCC’s win over Itawamba.

NEMCC Volleyball will play its first road conference match of the season against Meridian at Graham Gymnasium in Meridian at 6 p.m.

NEMCC volleyball went 2-2 at the Wallace State Fall Bash after a straight-sets win over Southern Union State and will face Meridian Monday.

NEMCC volleyball is scheduled to face Wallace-Hanceville at 9 a.m. and Southern Union State at 3 p.m. in Cullman, Alabama.

NEMCC Volleyball defeated ICC at home before the largest crowd in the program’s four-year history, Northeast Tiger Athletics said.

NEMCC volleyball will face Northwest in a postseason rematch from last fall at Howard Coliseum in Senatobia.

NEMCC volleyball is scheduled to open its rivalry series with Itawamba at 6 p.m. at the Davis Event Center in Fulton.
