Lynn Jones: Living under the Royal Law

This law, which compels us to action, is no common rule for life. It is the highest law, a “royal law.”

The Christian life can be the most captivating way of life of all.

Grumbling about our lot in life is a favorite human pastime.

If genuine change is to take place in our lives, then we need to come clean with God about our sin.

What you need is the sensitivity and concern in order to be able to speak a loving word to those who hurt around you.

You study the Word, stash it away in your soul, and then on some cold, overwhelming day, you can find it again.

Confession is difficult for all of us.

It was the declaration of a truth so immense and profound that it seemed unbelievable. It was hard for them to wrap their heads around it.

What we need is something shaped like a cross. We need to bless and enrich the lives of others.

Keep your eyes open, and you will be amazed at what you see.
