If someone calls claiming they can bond a person out of jail, do not share personal or financial information and hang up immediately, officials said. The county does not conduct business in this manner.
Residents are advised not to meet with anyone, send money, or provide sensitive information over the phone. Authorities urge the public to share this warning to help prevent scams.
