LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. — Two adults were injured and six vehicles damaged in a shooting early Sunday morning at the R N B Lounge in Artesia, authorities say.
The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office responded around 12:41 a.m. to reports of gunfire at the lounge, located at 107 Front Street. Two victims with gunshot wounds drove themselves to Oktibbeha County Hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening, officials said.
Six vehicles in the area also sustained damage from gunfire. The sheriff’s office is investigating the incident and working to identify those responsible.
