The Myers family has announced a memorial service for Officer Robert Lee Myers, who served with the Jackson Police Department. The service will take place Friday, January 9, 2026, at Chancellor Funeral Home, located at 7225 Siwell Road in Byram, Mississippi.
Visitation starts at 10 a.m., followed by the memorial service at 11 a.m. Family members invite friends, colleagues and community members to honor Myers’s life, which was marked by integrity, compassion and service. The family appreciates prayers and support during this time.
Tyree D. Jones, chief of police for Jackson, and Hinds County Sheriff, have expressed their condolences.
