YAZOO CITY, Miss. — A man was shot and killed on Longwood Cove on January 3, according to authorities.
Dispatch received a call about the shooting at approximately 12:05 p.m. Deputies responded to the scene and found a male victim who had been shot. They provided first aid until emergency services arrived.
The victim, 33-year-old Cornelius Stuckey, was taken by ambulance to Baptist Hospital in Yazoo City. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving, police said.
Two male suspects surrendered and are being held at the Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility. The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
