Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office Launches Weekly Warrant Bulletin in 2026

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office will start a weekly Wanted Persons Bulletin in 2026, the agency announced on Facebook.

The bulletin will feature individuals with active warrants at the time of posting. Sheriff’s officials caution that warrant statuses can change, and some warrants may no longer be active when viewed.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court, the sheriff’s office said.

If residents have information about the whereabouts of any featured individuals, they are urged to contact the sheriff’s office. To remain anonymous, tipsters can call Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151 or submit tips via the P3Tips app.

The sheriff’s office offers rewards of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to arrests or help solve crimes. Officials warn that some suspects may be dangerous and advise against attempting to confront or apprehend anyone.

Sheriff Eddie Hawkins thanked community members for their continued support and cooperation in making Lowndes County safer.
