Where to go for Fireworks and Festivities in the MS Delta

What is the 4th of July without fireworks? We all love the old traditions of being outside with friends and family, cooking out, playing games, and then finishing the celebration off with a grand show of booming fireworks.

Unfortunately, due to the corona virus pandemic, many of our cities and towns across the state have canceled their normal Independence Day festivities.

If you are from the Mississippi Delta area and are struggling to find a place to get out and celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks, here is a list of confirmed places that will be holding Independence Day activities and shooting off fireworks on July 4th.

Indianola – Stephensville Store

  • Cook Out: Starts at 10:00 AM
  • Water Slides for Kids: Starts at 10:00 AM
  • Live Music (Mississippi Marshall): 12:00-3:00 PM
  • Fireworks: 6:00 PM

Natchez – Mississippi River

  • Fireworks: 9:00 PM

Sardis Sardis Lake

  • Poker Run: 11:00 AM
  • Sunset Party at Rafters on the Water: 6:00 PM
  • Fireworks: 9:00 PM

Southaven – BankPlus Amphitheater

  • Fireworks: 9:00 pm

Vicksburg – Downtown

  • Statewide Prayer Gathering at The Market Place: 7:00 AM
  • Events start Downtown: 7:00 PM
  • Live Music: 8:00 PM
  • Fireworks: 9:00 PM
