Reeves campaign announces ad buy
Gov. Tate Reeves announced his first campaign television ad along with a $1.3 million advertising purchase that will run through June and into July.
Reeves’ campaign said this is the beginning of a major media campaign to keep Mississippi in Republican hands and to promote the conservative leadership that Reeves has demonstrated since taking office.
“National Democrats and their donors will undoubtedly pour millions of special interest dollars into the failing campaign of Brandon Presley, but they will ultimately be unsuccessful in their efforts,” said Reeves’ campaign manager Elliott Husbands. “Mississippi has momentum and Gov. Reeves is the right leader to keep it going forward.”
“The strength of our campaign continues to grow—just as our state is growing stronger every day. I am committed to preserving Mississippi’s conservative way of life and I am committed to keeping up the momentum. This is Mississippi’s time,” said Gov. Tate Reeves.
The ad follows the leadership of Gov. Tate Reeves throughout the crises, natural disasters, and pandemic that disrupted the Gov.’s first term in office. Narrated by First Lady Elee Reeves, it reminds voters of the strength and faith of Mississippians through tough times.
