PSC to host Water Summit to address statewide concerns
July 24 – The Mississippi Public Service Commissioners are excited to announce the upcoming Water Summit, inviting stakeholders and the public to join them in a crucial dialogue on July 31. Scheduled from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the MPSC Courtroom in the historic Woolfolk Building, Jackson, this summit aims to address pressing issues impacting water service across the state.
The summit will feature presentations from key leaders including the Mississippi Department of Health, Mississippi Rural Water Association, Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, and Mississippi Municipal Water. These presentations will provide insights and initiatives crucial to enhancing water service reliability and accessibility statewide.
“At its core, this summit is about ensuring all Mississippians have access to safe, clean, reliable, and affordable water,” stated the Commissioners. “We invite professionals, community leaders, and concerned citizens to participate actively in shaping the future of water management in our state.”
