Man faces 70 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute Meth

A Pascagoula man was sentenced to 70 months in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, said U.S. Attorney Darren J. LaMarca and Special Agent in Charge Jermicha Fomby of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Karlos Laton Brown, 41, was sentenced on February 27, 2023, in U.S. District Court in Gulfport. According to court documents, On Sept. 11, 2018, FBI and MBN agents utilized a confidential informant to purchase methamphetamine from Karlos Brown and his co-defendant in the parking lot of Walmart on Denny Avenue in Pascagoula.
Brown was indicted by a federal grand jury on May 17, 2022. He pled guilty on Feb. 17, 2022, to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
