Jerry Lee Lewis home to be sold
The DeSoto County home of “The Killer” is up for sale.
The Lewis Ranch, where rock ‘n’ roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis had called home since the 1970s is being sold, according to the Jerry Lee Lewis Ranch website.
Lewis passed away Oct. 28 at the age of 87. The ranch, located on Malone Road in Nesbit, features a piano-shaped swimming pool, a lake and two ponds, self-contained apartment and the home.
The website does not list a selling price, although it’s believed the home is worth more than $750,000. It was Lewis’ residence, retreat, and entertainment area with fellow musicians coming to get away from recording music and performing on the road.
The Lewis Ranch was also where tourists would visit, until that was stopped in August 2021, a practice that was started in 1994.
The website noted the home could become a museum or event venue, retreat, resort, or a fan’s dream home.
However in a message Friday morning, Judith Lewis, wife of the late music star, said the home is not for sale but could not comment on advice of her attorney.
