Booneville Woman Charged with Embezzlement

In late August, the Criminal Investigation Division of the Booneville Police Department began investigating an alleged embezzlement of a North Second Street business in Booneville. This investigation lead to the arrest of a Booneville woman.

On September 5th, the Booneville Police Department arrested Suzanna Paige Butler, a 22 year old white woman from Booneville for the embezzlement allegtions.

Butler was then subsequently charged with one felony count of embezzlement of more than $5,600.00, according to the Booneville Police Department.

Also according to the Booneville Police Department, her bond was set at $2,500.00 and the case will be presented to the Prentiss County grand jury.
